Although not that close to London, lots of students enjoy taking imagery from the capital to use as their inspiration.  This student has created a piece with an injection of colour at this tube station to brighten up the mundane commute into the city.

In this piece, the student has dealt with the topic of ‘Dereliction’.  She went and took some site specific photos and produced this accurate interpretation in her end of year 15 hour exam.  It is acrylic paint on canvas.

This student was a passionate English literature student, who used the works by Gothic novelists to create this period piece.  It is an etching, oil based ink on paper.

Relatives in Canada helped to inspire this student to produce a Canadian landscape painting for her end of A level exam.  She studied the work of a number of traditional landscape artists to help her develop her skills.

This fun, quirky illustrative painting has been inspired by the patterns in a kaleidoscope, colour and repetition.  Painted onto wood panels, the student produced a series of her friends, stylised in this way.

Following a school Geography trip to Iceland, this student produced a set of paintings and explorations based on the amazing landscapes she saw on her trip.  To create the thick, impasto effect, the student laid down a ground of polyfilla before applying the paint.
