DESIGN and MAKE a  piece of art that fuses your cultures to celebrate the international links between Haybridge and these cultures.  

Your design should draw upon traditions and ideas from the past but must also look to the future and therefore your own ideas 

must also form a vital part of the final piece. （设计并制作一件有你们文化特色的艺术品以庆祝两校的国际连线合作。设计应以传统为基础，即回顾历史又展望将来。当然自己的思想、个性的体现也很重要。）

The i-phone project （苹果手机项目）

1.The iPhone as a “global product”.  What makes it a global product? Where do all the parts come from? Where are the various

 parts of the process (fabrication, assembly, research) carried out? （苹果手机成为国际化产品。是什么使它国际化？它所有的部件来自哪里？它的生产流程（包括制造、合成、研发)是在哪里实施的？）

2.The geographical/economic reasons for locating iPhone assembly in China why does it say “Designed in California;

 Made in China” on the back? （集成组装线落户中国的地理和经济原因。为什么背面写有“加尼福尼亚设计，中国制造”字样？）

3.The role of companies like Apple in the overall development of the Chinese economy. （像苹果这样的公司对中国总体经济发展的作用）

4.How important is sustainability for businesses in China? consider research, production materials, packaging, transportation from 

the point of view of sustainability.（中国商业经济可持续性发展的重要性？从可持续性的角度看研发，产品原材料，包装，运输）

Geography（地理）

Our year 9 students are doing a study of the local area around us and would like to share their work with your students and receive 

a description of where you live in Chengdu.（我们9年级的学生正在对周边的地域特征进行研究，想与你们的学生分享，并收到你们对自己所居住地成都地域特征的描述）

Our year 12 students are studying the 'one child policy' and would like to understand the policy from your point of view. 

This may not be possible for you but let us know.（我们12年级的学生正在学习“独生子女政策”，想了解你们对此的观点。这对你们或许不可能，但让我们知道）
